ARC’TERYX ACADEMY CIRCULAR DESIGN

The Arc'teryx Academy ReBird Circular Design Workshop, led by the innovative designer Nicole McLaughlin, was an inspiring event focused on sustainable fashion and creative upcycling. During the workshop, I brought a damaged Arc'teryx jacket and transformed it into a new, functional item—a bag.

Nicole McLaughlin, known for her resourceful and imaginative designs, provided expert advice and hands-on assistance throughout the process. She guided me in reimagining the jacket into a stylish and practical bag. The workshop emphasized the importance of circular design principles, encouraging us to think creatively about repurposing materials that might otherwise go to waste.

The experience not only honed my crafting skills but also deepened my appreciation for sustainable fashion practices. It showed me how damaged or discarded items could be given a second life with a bit of creativity.
