Working with Yuima Nakazato on his newest Haute Couture Collection, entitled ‘UNVEIL’. I assisted in the final stages of the collection at the Paris atelier leading up to the runway show. My tasks included crocheting, hand-sewing, attaching fringe, and more. The collection featured many intricate details, requiring delicate handwork to bring it to life. On the day of the show, I dressed and quick-changed the opening model for the runway. I'm proud to say the collection and show were a big success.
Dancer Masks Created By Hand Crochet
The masks needed to be very secure on the dancers head so that they would not fall off no matter the dance movement. This resulted in testing of the masks and adding extra crochet lines to ensure secureness.
